Celtic are reportedly interested in Utrecht’s Michael Silberbauer according to reports from Holland today.
The 29-year-old Danish midfielder played in both Europa League matches against Celtic earlier this season and has also been linked with Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham.
Silberbaurer is rated at £4m but will be a free agent at the end of the season with Utrecht keen to cash in on him after his impressive performances in the Europa League.
According to one report the player’s agent has told Utrecht that Celtic have shown the most serious interest in the player who joined from FC Copenhagen on a free two years ago.
