Edson Braafheid joined Hoffenheim today for an undisclosed fee.
The Dutchman made eleven appearances for Celtic last season after being brought in on loan during the January transfer window.
Despite being a spectacular disaster Braafheid made it into Holland’s 23 man World Cup squad and made one appearance- in extra-time during the final minutes before Spain scored the only goal of the match.
Braafheid has made four appearances this season for Bayern before falling foul of Louis van Gaal and being banished from the side.
Joining Braafheid at Hoffenheim is former Liverpool striker Ryan Babel.
Hoffenheim are currently sitting in eigth place in the Bundesliga and face Shalke 04 away on Saturday.
