Diouf: Brown tried to get me sent off

|

Scott Brown Celtic newsLoan Ranger El-Hadji Diouf last night launched a verbal attack on Scott Brown.

The Celtic skipper was in direct opposition to Diouf in yesterday’s 2-2 Scottish Cup thriller before being substituted by Kyle Lafferty.

There were no real flash points between the two during the match although Brown was booked for staring at Diouf after scoring Celtic’s second equaliser.

Speaking to The Sun after the match Diouf decided to put the boot into the Celtic skipper.

He said: “Brown tried all sorts of things to get me sent off. He said some nasty things about me and my family on the pitch – but I am too big for him.

“He can say all the nasty things he wants. I won’t react. He just wants publicity because if I react then people are going to say that El Hadji did something wrong.”

Diouf added: “I played my own game even though some people tried to wind me up. There was a lot said before the match, but I kept my nerve and was alright.

“Brown tried to wind me up right from the start of the game. He tried things to get me sent off, but I’m too strong for him. I am not here to give a headache to people.

“I am here to play my football and do everything I can to help Rangers win games. I know Brown tried to get me sent off, but that’s OK.

“I know what is going to happen in every game I play here. It happened in England and it will happen in Scotland, I know people are going to try and get me sent off. But I tell you, I’m too strong for those people.

“I am mature now – I’m a big guy and I know what to expect. Maybe five years ago I would have reacted and done something to him and been sent off but not now.

“I tell you right now, I am not going to let anyone down.”

what a load of Sh*te. Low life sewer rat running and crying to the laptop loyal.

  • Joe says:

Getting this scumbag sent off would have been giving Rangers an advantage so I doubt he was right. He did prove though just how “big” he is now by making such lying accusations.

Brown stood still, with his arms in the air in celebration! It was the scumbag who stood staring at him.

    WHAT A WEE PUSSY!!
It seems he’s only capable of answering back if the other guys lying on the deck with a double leg fracture!
It’s amazing how being hounded out of the entire country were you worked, after being roundly attacked by every possible level of the game from fans, players, managers and chairmen for being a ‘scumbag’ a ‘sewer rat’ and ‘the lowest of the low’ (amongst many many other names), can bring on maturity, what a joke.
“I know what is going to happen in every game I play here. It happened in England and it will happen in Scotland”.
My heart bleeds! Try using that new found ‘maturity’ (all five weeks of it) to work out why scumbag!!
    Broonie OWNED you ya d*ck!!!

Never thought ad say this but Spit the dug made me laugh.
The usual pash from the laptop loyal any story with an anti Celtic slant.
Wonder if Mr G Peat enjoyed the game from his seat amongst the rearaners management.

  • max says:

What would you call his new peroxide hair-do?
    A Brazillian?

  • Frank McGaaaaaaarvey! says:

Aw, the poor wee diddums that is Spit The Dob. Naebody likes me and I’ll go and eat worms!

Maturity?!? Yes, his actions against Jamie Mackie were certainly the act of a dignified adult showing a lot of maturity.

Max, you certainly could call his new haircut a Brazilian. Well, it belongs on a fanny after all doesn’t it?

Anybody else already sick of Joof’s rat-faced gurning? Scoosh’s celebration was almost as enjoyable as his goal.

  • max says:

Oh I never thought of that.

    (sarcasm)

    ;O)

  • Frank McGaaaaaaarvey! says:

    Here,

Didn’t you start posting on ‘Scotzine’ Max?

  • max says:

I have in the past, very infrequently (half a dozen times or so), but found it hunnish.
I stopped posting on it six months ago or so after a disagreement over an extreme anti-Celtic/Irish thread they posted, and they then started posting parts of my e-mail addy.
A real hunnish thing to do, but thet’s the level of scumbag that writes for them.
I was surprised to read they sticking up for broonie, that wont last, but more surprised that the’ve dreamed up another ‘max’ to post there.
It most defo isn’t me, as I made it clear at the time how despicable their tactics were and that I wouldn’t contribute to such a scumbag site, but I guess I should be flattered, immitation/flattery and all that!

  • Frank McGaaaaaaarvey! says:

Just a wee wind up Max. I know how much this ‘imposter’ has vexed you!

I try to stay away from sites where some of the less illuminated huns may lurk. Trying to argue with them is like trying to teach an angry wasp (no pun intended) to make jam!
