With the Ryan Giggs story finally out in the open Sir Alex Ferguson faced one of his most difficult media conferences in 25 years as manager of Manchester United.
Days after the story became public knowledge on twitter the English courts finally lifted the super injunction on Imogen Thomas’s claims about Giggs with broadcasters free to mention the Manchester United winger with his picture dominating today’s front pages.
Today’s UEFA conference was open to all and attracted as many news reporters as football reporters.
One brave reporter decided to ask Ferguson about Giggs with the video below showing the response of the knight from Govan.
Friday’s conference will be a Manchester United event- no prizes for guessing who won’t be there!
