Adam Matthews Celtic newsAdam Matthews will make his competitive debut for Celtic at Aberdeen today.

The former Cardiff full-back has been given the nod over Cha Du-Ri to stand in for the injured Mark Wilson.

Matthews will be joined in defence by Daniel Majstorovic who replaces Glenn Loovens who could be absent for upto a month.

Majstorovic is expected to take on the captaincy from Wilson as Scott Brown sits out the final match of his two game suspension.

Neil Lennon has gone for the same midfield quartet that played against Hibs with Anthony Stokes and Gary Hooper together in attack.

CELTIC: Zaluska; Matthews, K Wilson, Majstorovic, Izaguirre; Commons, Kayal, Ki, Ledley; Hooper, Stoles.

Subs Cervi, Mulgrew, Samaras, Forrest, Maloney, Wanyama, McCourt
