Penalties are a sore subject for any Celtic supporter to discuss- already this season Gary Hooper and Kris Commons have missed from 12 yards out.
Since the turn of the year Anthony Stokes and Georgios Samaras have also missed from the penalty spot with star marksman Daryl Murphy now on loan at Ipswich Town.
In England there has also been an upsurge in missed penalties but there’s been nothing as brutal as Amir Sayoud of Al Ahly against Kima Aswan.
Fortunately Al Ahly won the match 4-0 but after his spectacular FAIL it’ll be a long time before Sayoud is trusted again from the penalty spot.

Well that’s a first, a player getting booked for kicking himself!
why did he get booked?
did he get booked for simulation? LOL
The dutch ref from the Czech Republic game would have sent off the goalkeeper for a vicious foul on the penalty taker as he attempted to shoot. Then would have allowed the player to retake the penalty with no goalkeeper, as many times as it took for him to score.
the dutch referee was perfectly fine, he didnt give the stonewall pen against adam did he?
