Europa League Celtic newsUdinese continued their impressive start to the season by beating Fiorentina 2-0 yesterday.

Celtic’s next Europa League opponents have taken full points from their two opening Serie A fixtures as well as seeing of Rennes in midweek.Antonio Di Natale and Mauricio Isla found their way past Artur Boruc.

On Wednesday Udinese travel to face Milan, who have taken just one point from their opening two matches, then head to Cagliari before facing Celtic.

Atletico Madrid found form at home to Racing Santander winning 4-0 with Radamel Falcao netting a hat-trick before being substituted in the 68th minute. Adrián completed the scoring for the home team.

On Wednesday Atletico are at home to Sporting Gijon before facing a much tougher test away to Barcelona on Saturday ahead of their trip to face Stade Rennes in the Europa League.

Rennes were held at home to a 1-1 draw by Nancy. Victor Montaño opened the scoring for Rennes but André Luiz equalised 12 minutes from time for the second bottom placed side.
