Europa League Celtic newsJulien Feret scored the only goal of the game as Rennes bounced back from their draw with Celtic to win 1-0 away to Rennes.

The win lifts Frédéric Antonetti’s side into fourth place, five points behind leaders PSG.

In Italy Udinese continue to set the pace at the top of the table with a 3-0 home win over Novara with the Group I leaders unbeaten in Serie A.

Artur Boruc’s Fiorentina are in midtable following their 2-2 draw at home to Catania.

In Russia Marc Crosas couldn’t prevent Volga from slumping to a 2-0 defeat at home to Krasnodar while Aiden McGeady was a late substitute in Spartak Moscow’s 4-0 home win over bottom placed Tom Tomsk.

Morten Rasmussen’s Sivasspor were hammered 6-2 away from home by Kayserispor with the Dane substituted in the 73rd minute.

Sivasspor are now sitting in sixth bottom place just two points clear of the relegation zone after seven matches.

Efrain Juarez didn’t fare any better with Real Zaragoza losing 3-0 away to Osasuna. Celtic’s Europa League opponents Atletico Madrid drew 1-1 at home to Real Mallorca with former Rangers target Tomer Hemed opening the scoring in the second minute with his fourth goal of the season.
