Celtic Scottish Cup winners 2011Celtic’s Scottish Cup clash with Inverness Caley Thistle looks certain to beat the weather and go ahead tomorrow.

Despite predictions of snow and heavy frost across the British Isles the highland capital looks set to escape the worst of the weather.

The trip north on the A9 is one of the most dreaded of the season for Celtic fans with memories fresh of last seasons double postponements including one in April!

At midnight tonight the temperature will dip down to -1 in Inverness but be up at a balmy plus 3 at noon rising to plus 4 by the time the final whistle goes.

Any fans unwilling to risk the journey can always head along to Lennoxtown for the u-19 clash with Hibs which kicks off at 12 noon.

It’s a sunny -7 in Inverness this morning. Looking forward to the game tomorrow, we never get an easy time up here and I wonder if Hayes will be motivated by the speculation linkin him to us during the transfer window.

Quite simply, it’s not about what Inverness do…but what Celtic DO….If we play anything at all we will win, comfortably. But if we allow them to drag us down to their level then we struggle.

Hope we don’t allow them to outnumber our midfield as we did with St. Mirren & Falkirk or we are asking for trouble.

The park may be bumpy, hard but quality teams can still play good football on the deck, punting it in the air makes it much less in our favour.

Commons could be a key player for us, leave Sammy warming the bench, we don’t need passengers. We match their work rate, fight and let out quality players do the rest.
