Ally McCoist Rangers newsAn emotional Ally McCoist believes that some of his first team stars are fearing the axe from the clubs’ administrators.

Tuesday’s appointment of administrators Duff and Phelps has put every job under threat with cuts certain at all levels including players and management.

Today’s 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock was another bitter blow for the Rangers boss to stomach with Celtic going to Hibs tomorrow looking to stretch their lead to 17 points.

The threat of job losses is real with McCoist unsure of the effect that it is having on his players.

“I don’t know, we will all have different opinions on it,” he answered about the uncertain future of his players. “I’m not sure.

“I certainly wouldn’t blame them if maybe it did get to them a little bit.

“We can all say they are professional but if somebody threatens your job, people will react in different ways.”

Earlier today Paul Clark of Duff and Phelps had revealed that they had obtained further details about the clubs complex financial affairs.

Clark said: “We have been receiving information from channels but specifically we have received some information overnight from solicitors that have previously been connected with the football club and it’s that information that we require to go through in some detail and get some clarity on.

“It’s in relation to several transactions in relation to the takeover and other issues in relation to the financial affairs of the football club over the past few months.”

These stall tactics are being used to give Scottish goverment time along with the SFA on how this can be hidden and somehow, not rangers fault. The corruption continues. The SFA are opting out.

Show, a dog and pony show, to make it look like they want to get to the bottom of the corruption! Good God! They are and have been part of this corruption for years!

Rangers are now officially outed as cheats and the scottish government want you to take that on the chin! Surprised anyone? Or are we all just paranoid?

    • Mac says:

Believe me, what Salmond thinks and what he says, are two different entities.

If one party in Scotland would like to see the huns capitulate….

      It’s the SNP.

      • Mac says:

Heard the phone in myself mate. A couple of traumatized sycophants pleading, well, insisting any newco huns have to be parachuted straight back into the SPL.

    Very insightful stuff from Ally.

  • williebhoy says:

Funny how it didn’t affect Dundee players when they were given a 25 point penalty….instead they went about their business and tried to claw it back.

So much for the dressing room not being affected by events off the park…unless it suits.

Stand up and be counted Sally, don’t hide behind other events and try to pass the buck. What are your excuses for capitulating in the CL, Europa, League Cup, Scottish Cup….all before you went into Administration – which YOU said yourself could be a GOOD thing for the club !!
