SFA football newsSandy Jardine has warned that Rangers fans will take action against any clubs or football bodies that they feel are detrimental to the club.

Speaking after attending a meeting of the Rangers Fans Fighting Fund the Ibrox ambassador and scout with uncompromising with his warning.

Rangers are appealing against a 12 month transfer ban from the SFA with the SPL due to come up with proposals to provide direct entry for a newco in the event of a club going into liquidation.

With no sign of a suitable offer on the table for the club time is running out to save Rangers with fans delivering a letter of protest to the SFA today over the transfer ban.

Jardine warned: “We will wait to see what the SPL and the SFA do with the supposed sanctions and, after that, we as a body will take appropriate action against either the governing bodies or the individual clubs we feel have been detrimental to Rangers Football Club.

“There is nothing off the table, we will wait and see what the SFA and SPL do. They might not take any action, which is great. But if they do then we will address these actions in an appropriate manner.”

“Not all clubs are against Rangers, we have some friends out there. We will find out one way or another.”

Earlier today Duff and Phelps described the latest bid for the club from Brian Kennedy and Paul Murray as ‘a challenge for creditors to accept’.

“insect” haha. brilliant mate, nice one 😀

    • martin kennea says:

These are veiled threats from that old codger. Just like fat sals last week . I would bet my bools on it nothing will be said , or done about it. And, we all know they will get their punishments reduced.

  • johnp says:

Strathclyde’s finest should be having a word with this old bigotted cretin and his fat cheeky mate. Can you imagine anyone associated with Celtic making similar threats? They would already be in custody.

Ex-Celtic players and the current manager have been slaughtered for suggesting certain members of the refereeing fraternity or the SFA may not treat Celtic fairly, never mind suggesting that Celtic fans take punitive action against them.

And to do so when the Ayrshire boys are getting sent down is just plain criminal.

  • Only in Scotland would bigotted anlmals like him get away with it

  • mick f says:

More inciting statements that will only be taken one way by the hoards of bigots.
Chief superintendent Andy Bates said “I’m delighted at the way supporters conducted themselves” no mention of Jardine’s THREATS, he also was happy no arrests. No arrests, a group of bigots preaching North Korean style propaganda to those already brainwashed. Groveling coward but expected from Strathclyde Police.
We’ll hopefully add to their misery tomorrow.

  • paranoidandroid says:

Does Jardine think he’s Al Capone ? Why is he getting away with this ? It seems that the ‘authorities’ in Scotland only take draconian action against people who dont threaten and abuse them. Cowards.

  • Patrick says:

If the SFA buckle and then Celtic supporters mass to carry protests and sanctions this could lead to anarchy within the football fraternity

    • martin kennea says:

Patrick, the sfa WILL buckle. And we have got to show them we are not accepting it.

  • paranoidandroid “Does Jardine think he’s Al Capone ?” He might not think HE is but he will certainly think someone is in the ‘Mafia’ there. They will get away with it because ‘Bonny Scotland’ has taken this as the norm for so long, I think they have come to actually believe any threat to or even criticism of this establishment is an attack on Scotland itself. More so if that perceived attack appears to be or is portrayed as coming from those most hated immigrants from across the Scottish, sorry Irish Sea (How did not take that too when they stole Ireland?).

  • Celtic Daft says:

Is it just me or is there something sinister here. The wild talk from McCoist demanding to name the ‘Hampden 3’ , his subsequent talk of him totally standing by his original outburst & then Sandy Jardine with all these thinly veiled threats. I just find the whole thing creepy. The “fighting-fund” “the WALK” they were organising, all double-talk when you look at it a little deeper. They have some neck when they won 9 tainted titles in a row & then the ones after under Advocaat, McLeish, Walt & Fat Ally. They should be in jail.

  • Let’s all laugh at rankers, let’s all laugh at rankers hahahaha hahaha let’s all laugh at rankers lets all laugh at rankers. This should be sung loud and proud tomorrow and let them no we are having a ball at there predicament. Long live the hoops, death to the scum bags hail hail

  • Allan says:

If SFA or any member clubs succumb to this open bullying from this disgusting cheating club Scottish Football is DEAD!

    • martin kennea says:

Why is our chairman , and all the other chairmen, not coming out and condemning everything they rats are doing and saying ???

  • dombhoy67 says:

The SFA (panel) must stay strong in the face of such hate filled thuggery. If they withdraw their decision it must only to impose an even stiffer sanction nothing less will do. The eyes of the world are watching this!

    • martin kennea says:

I honestly think they were let of far too light. We should be demanding these penalties are withdrawn , and much more severe ones imposed.

  • Mharkopolo says:

its ridiculous isn’t it, just imagine if neil lennon or even peter lawwell said something like this.

” we as a body will take appropriate action against either the governing bodies or the individual clubs we feel have been detrimental to Rangers Football Club”

yeah your not really used to not getting away with things are you, it f***ing shows. the fact that they are encouraging the rangers FANS to take action aswell. even if he means something else (god knows if he means anything other than rioting) the rangers fans will take this as an invitation to be destructive. god help anyone in glasgow that day, or any of these clubs that will soon be leaked. i needn’t say that celtic will dragged into it whether they were involved or not.

  • Thai Tim says:

How about the SFA making a statement such as this:- “Once all payments have been made to all the clubs for previous Rangers FC player transfers, Rangers FC can then buy players. Until then the ban stands”.
