Biram Kayal newsNeil Lennon didn’t think that his week could get any better- until he saw Biram Kayal charging around the training pitch at Lennoxtown!

The Israeli midfielder played a full part in the after match celebrations at Rugby Park on Saturday and is on course to play again this season.

Kayal has been out injured since the 1-0 win over Rangers on December 28 and is on course for a return despite initially being written off for the season.

“Biram Kayal is back in light training,” Lennon told Celtic tv. “It’s fantastic to see him doing so well so quickly.

“Mo Bangura is back training which is brilliant news. Thomas (Rogne) should make training for Friday, we’re getting a few back from the injury list.

“We’ve got Victor (Wanyama) back from suspension so we’ve got a bit more quality back in the squad although it’s a wee bit early for Biram on Sunday.”

Mo Bangura was a bit of a disaster like. turned up under a media storm of apparent recommendations from henrik (which im going to assume means henrik said “aye, hes a decent player” and the media saw an opportunity to jinx him) and never really got going, and disappeared. Injured? I must have missed that!

bit harsh, he has been injured a lot about 4 separate times if i remember and really has not had a chance in the team. played at hearts when everyone was rotten and had a few sub appearences when we were in general not very good. he was also described at being good with his feet in close quarters, yet every time i seen him play we booted the ball at his head?? not saying he will be good or bad but he has to be given a chance before a judgement can be made.
