Celtic duo Marcus Fraser and John Herron were on target yesterday as Scotland’s u-18 side beat Serbia 4-1.
The two side’s had drawn 1-1 on Tuesday with the double header geared towards preparing the team for next season’s u-19 European Championship qualifiers.
Serbia opened the scoring with a first half penalty but Scotland quickly levelled the scoring through Aberdeen’s Declan McManus before Lewis MacLeod of Rangers put Ricky Spragia’s side in front.
The match remained in the balance until the final stages but goals from Fraser in the 88th and Herron in the 90th minute earned Scotland the win.
Celtic’s Mikey Miller played the last 10 minutes as a substitute.
On Monday night at Hampden Celtic’s u-19 side face Queen of the South in the final of the SFA Youth Cup, kick-off 7.30pm.
