Celtic newsCeltic will face Queen of the South in the final of the SFA Youth Cup at Hampden next Monday after a dramatic night at Tannadice.

Queen of the South beat Dundee United 5-4 after extra-time but the game was interupted by a half time fire scare that saw the stadium evacuated with the home side 2-1 in front.

After the extended interval United looked home and dry as they raced into a 4-2 lead but the First Division fought back to level the scores and take the game to extra time.

United’s Craig Bell was red carded conceding a penalty for the visitors fourth goal with the First Division side going 5-4 up in the first half of extra-time.

Queen of the South will be the first non SPL team that Celtic have faced in the competition after John Kennedy’s side beat Kilmarnock, Dunfermline, Aberdeen and St Mirren to reach their third consecutive final.
