Neil Lennon has been voted Manager of the Year by the Scottish Football Writers Association.
The Celtic boss beat off strong competition from Stuart McCall and Derek Adams to pick up the award for his second full season in management.
With Charlie Mulgrew picking up the Player of the Year award and James Forrest the Young Player of the Year gong it makes it a clean sweep of honours for the SPL champions.
“We’ve done what we set out to do,” Lennon stated. “ I think we’ve made progress and I think we’ve improved over the course of the season. I think some of the players have really covered themselves in glory.
“We’re looking like a quality team. I can’t guarantee we will win the league every year but these are exciting times ahead.
“It’s a privilege to win the award from the football writers. It means a lot to me. I’m delighted and also delighted for Charlie and James.”

Is anyone actually surprised they didn’t give it to fat Sally? After all, he’s been under enormous pressure and he’s dealt with it in the most dignified manor, blah blah blah.
After being 15 point behind there was only one option.
Well done Lenny,
