Europa League Celtic newsInter Milan will use today’s friendly with Celtic as their final warm up for their Europa League tie on Thursday away to Hadjuk Split.

The 2010 Champions League winners finished last season in a distant seventh place a massive 26 points behind champions Juventus.

After living it up in the Champions League the Milan giants now face two qualifying rounds to qualify for the Europa League- entering the competition at the same stage as Dundee United.

Gian Piero Gasperini, Claudio Ranieri and Andrea Stramaccioni all had spells as manager last season with former youth coach Stramaccioni bringing his squad to Glasgow today.

Wesley Sneijder is the star name in the Inter squad but striker Giampaolo Pazzini and goalkeeper Julio Cesar have been left behind and omitted from the squad registered with UEFA for the matches with Hadjuk Split.

The full squad for today’s match is:

Goalkeepers: 1 Samir Handanovic, 12 Luca Castellazzi, 27 Vid Belec;

Defenders: 6 Matias Silvestre, 23 Andrea Ranocchia, 26 Cristian Chivu, 33 Ibrahima Mbaye, 42 Jonathan, 44 Matteo Bianchetti, 55 Yuto Nagatomo;

Midfielders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 10 Wesley Sneijder, 14 Fredy Guarin, 16 Gabi Mudingayi, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 24 Marco Benassi;

Forwards: 7 Philippe Coutinho, 8 Rodrigo Palacio, 22 Diego Milito, 61 Luca Garritano, 88 Marko Livaja.

Andre Blackman and Ki Sung Yeung have been left out of the Celtic squad listed with UEFA for the Champions League qualifiers with HJK Helsinki.

Blackman travelled with the first team squad for pre-season training in Germany while Ki is with the South Korea squad at the Olympics.

Robbie Thomson has been listed as the third choice goalkeeper with Neil Lennon able to call up any of his youth team players.

Last season Marcus Fraser made his top team debut in the Europa League tie against Rennes with Joe Chalmers, Callum McGregor and Lewis Toshney listed as substitutes.

    Nit-picking again!

    Gianpaolo Pazzini is a striker, Julio Cesar a goalkeeper! Looks like they will be sold!
