Ally McCoist Rangers news

Ally McCoist wants to sign 14 players for Sevco.

The Ibrox boss was speaking out after taking pre-season training with just six experienced players.

Last summer McCoist went on a summer spending spree bringing in stars from across the world including Matt McKay, Juan Ortiz, Carlos Bocanegra, Alejandro Bedoya and Lee Wallace.

None of those transfer fees were fully paid up with Rapid Vienna losing over £1m from the sale of Nikica Jelavic two years ago.

SFA Chief Stewart Regan has gone on record as stating that a First Division place for Sevco would carry a transfer embargo but McCoist isn’t willing to accept that sanction.

“We need to bring in the region of 10, 12 or even 14 players,” the Ibrox boss told Rangers tv. “I reckon since January we have lost close to 21 players. We have to start rebuilding and replacing.”

“They might want to put us in SFL 1 with more sanctions – I don’t know if that is the case.

“We have a transfer embargo hanging over us but how can I operate with a transfer embargo when I only have six players? It’s impossible and it’s just madness.

“I have in the region of six first team players at pre-season training right now, two of whom were regulars last season in the SPL.”

The SFL have put their Sevco vote back 24 hours until Friday 13th July and have requested that the SPL announce which club will replace Rangers before they take their vote.

  • Mark says:

i good one sally maybe we could give you a couple of our youth team if you ask nicely and they want to play in a LOWER DIVISION instead of CHAMPIONS LEAGUE my my wonder what they would do ? Hail hail

  • williebhoy says:

A few problems ahead for Sally….

    1) Clubs will want PAID
    2) Players will want 100% wages
    3) You have to be in a league to play ANY games
    4) You need money

Maybe ask those leg ends to return their EBT LOANS ?
    Thought as much LOL

Nice vote of confidence if the young players who have stood by the club through misguided loyalty / stupidity….written off without kicking a ball.

Maybe think about selling the guys you can’t afford, although I think Hearts might have something to say – selling a player you haven’t paid for.

Never mind, I’m sure Donald Findlay will mark your card with the Blue Brazil players.

Friday the 13th wow…what a horror film that would make. Fat Sally Krueger with his ‘Nightmare’s in Govan Street. Look out SFL Division Three you are about to become a very important league as the Sevco eleven descend upon you. You will have the spotlight on you like never before but never fear. The Sevco eleven is just the tormented ghost of the old dead Rangers f.c. refusing to die. They have no body or soul and all they can do is haunt and frighten you. Just play your normal game and the points will be in the bag. Good luck!

    • NoPrentender! says:

yea, & im sure when they win the div 3 title, it will be 55 & countin to tht bunch of ignorant imbiciles – the entire 250 (number of season tickets they hav sold for the forthcoming season whahahahahaaaaaaaaa) of them – but they don’t do walkin away; its only a stampede….WATC

  • Stephebhoy says:

I just wish Celtic could stick an under 18 and another under 21 in those leagues. They might delay the rapid rise up the league the huns are expecting.

  • Joe says:

The fact that this is still all uncertain is a testament to the utter bungling of the sfa dithering, unable to enforce rules, scared to hurt the feelings of the officially worst fans in europe, and obviously terrified to hurt their establishment club, even though they no longer exist!

  • Mharkopolo says:

the funny thing is, the SFA want newco in 1st div with the view that they’ll be in the SPL quicker. but if they have this transfer embargo they will almost certainly get relegated! they may aswell just put them in the 3rd division, it’ll take just the same amount of time!

  • Thai Tim says:

The main purpose of a liquidation where the company is insolvent is to collect in the company’s assets, determine the outstanding claims against the company, and satisfy those claims in the manner and order prescribed by law. Rangers FC circumvented the rule of law by transferring their assets into a new debt free club to avoid having to pay the creditors the bills and taxes they owe. This is a criminal offence. Sevco should not have been allowed to purchase Ibrox and Murray park, because these assets rightly belonged to the creditors, and as tax payers, we have a right to claim these assets back as they were bought illegally.

Furthermore, many companies in debt (such as Rangers FC) decide it’s more beneficial to start again by creating a new company, often referred to as a ‘newco’ company. In business terms this will mean liquidating a company as the only option and then resuming under a different name with the same customers, clients and suppliers. In some circumstances it may appear ideal for the directors, however if they trade under a name which is the same or substantially the same as the company in liquidation without approval from the Court they will be committing an offence under S316 of the Insolvency Act 1986. Persons participating in the management of the ‘newco’ company may also be held personally liable for the debts of the company under s317 of the Insolvency Act unless the Court approval has been granted. So far no court approval has been made. This means our administrators at the top of the SFA/SFL/SPL have been aiding and abetting illegal activity by treating Sevco as if it were the old Rangers FC company and if Sevco wish to insist they are really the old Rangers in disguise, they are liable for all the old Rangers debts.

On the Rangers FC official website, Sevco appears to be claiming they are now Rangers as if nothing had happened. Ally McCoist has stated they have been punished enough as they have been banned from European competition for three years. Of course this is a false claim because any new company must submit 3 years audited accounts before being allowed to compete in European competition, and since Sevco are a new club they are subject to the rules of the game (at least in Europe) just like any other new team. In Scotland however, the rules are being ignored, changed and manipulated in order to accommodate the fraud of the new debt free Sevco. Using fear and bribery tactics, our top administrators wish to bend the rules so that a new debt free company with no audited accounts can play in the higher levels of Scottish Football putting sporting integrity aside in favour of commercial interest. Contrary to their “Armageddon” fear tactic, if they are allowed to succeed, they put the whole of Scottish football in grave danger and disrepute, open to punishment from UEFA for overturning the laws of the game to suit commercial interest. Scottish football teams could be banned from European competition and our national team banned from participation in the World Cup Qualifiers. If the corruption is allowed to go ahead as they plan and our corrupt administrators get their way, tens of thousands of fans will turn their back on Scottish football, scunnered by the obvious corruption being favoured over sporting integrity.

Should a debt free Sevco be allowed to pretend they are Rangers and play in the first division for one season, they will have been allowed to shed the burden of over 100 million pounds of debt, and will therefore have an obvious advantage over all other teams who have paid their bills and taxes and competed within the laws of the game.

Our administrators are supposedly in these responsible positions in order to uphold the laws of the game, not to overturn the rule of law for the sake of one club and commercial interest.

    • martin kennea says:

Can the incoming liquidators make charles green give the assets back ? As i feel theres been criminal activity in the way they have been acquired by newco.

    • Jimbo says:

Outstanding summary Thai Tim – it encapsulates the whole sorry debacle.

It would be an affront to commonsense & the creditors if Sevco can claim on one hand to be the new-Rangers and to exist within Scottish football, but then to deny being the new-Rangers with regards the massive debts chalked up.
They can’t have it both ways.

The Scottish football authorities have been disgraceful in their handling of this – unwilling to abide by their own laws, and working to a clear agenda – allowing a debt-free new-Rangers to parachute into the Scottish leagues.

  • Piratebhoy says:

I say let them in at Div 1 stage…within 2years theyll be Div 3 cannon fodder anyhow with personnel theyve left!!!

  • daviebhoymcdeee says:

Here are some small problems with sallys’ request, apart from the fact that they will now probably be a LOWER division club, they ONLY have £3.5 million in the Sevco bank[according to Chico Green today].

There is NO money for transfers, the new board thought the oldco players would all stay LOYAL,and play for Sevco[a minor delusion, but ALL the bears worth a few bob, DESERTED like RATS on a sinking ship].

The money they have is for running costs, they don’t have any valuable playing assets to sell.

So Sally, unless you or the Sevco board can find an extra few million quid, you’re shit out of luck!!!

And even if somehow,a few million shekels fell into your lap, there is a VERY BIG QUESTION MARK, as to, whether or not, anybody is acctually STUPID enough to sign on the dotted line to play with Sevco

Regardless of the transfer problem, the whole world will see just how SHIT a MANAGER, Ally McCoist, really is!!!

  • 67Tommy67 says:

The reality of this saga, quite simple. Rankers were cheats, are cheats and unless they get a totally new management structure and all the bigots and masonic loving gentlemen in the spl are replaced Rankers will always be cheats. Who wishes to play any sporting activity with CHEATS…end of HH

  • Mick88 says:

I listened to some of McCoists ramblings on the radio last night, he claims they have been punished enough, but have they really been punished, they appealed the transfer embargo and im still not too clear on whether they won that or not, they were liquidated.

It’s not a punishment it’s what happens when a company cant pay bills, they were not voted into the SPL which in my eyes is not a punishment as a newco should not be allowed to walk straight back in, they lost most of their players,

In my job if i wasn’t getting paid I would leave too, they cant play in europe for 3 seasons but thats par for the course for a newco as they have to show 3yrs accounts, and they will probably be allowed to play in div 3. My question is…….where have they been punished?

  • sands1888 says:

Dont worry sally im sure there will be dozens of players who always wanted to play for there boyhood heroes banging down your door to play for nothing, that paired with the ex players returning there ill gotten ebt money, youll be back on your feet in no time, horrible sneaky little rodent that you are, karma my friend, god bless neil lennon
