Steve Kean Blackburn managerFan power has been taken to a new level/depth at Blackburn with global adviser Shebby Singh promising a boisterous fans form that Steve Kean will be sacked if Rovers lose their first three games in The Championship.

Kean has endured a torrid 18 months in charge at Ewood Park since the sacking of Sam Allerdyce with home matches regularly turned into Kean Out demonstrations and rallies.

Despite suffering relegation Kean has stayed in the hotseat with outspoken Singh appointed as an adviser by the Venky family that run the club from India.

In a bid to keep fans onside- and pay out for season-tickers- Singh hosted a fans forum and was happy to give the baying mob the answers that they were looking for.

Singh gave a definite “yes” when questioned if Kean would be sacked if Blackburn lost their first three matches.

Later on he gave more detail on the managerial situation saying: “It’s all about results. If, after three games, we have dropped nine points then we’ll only have a 50 per cent chance of getting promoted.”

Singh, a former Malaysian internationalist, also vented his anger on Morten Gamst Pedersen to further fuel the divisions between dressing room and boardroom at the club.

Morten Gamst Pedersen used to be a fantastic left winger,” Sigh added. “Unfortunately he has not reinvented himself as a central midfielder.

“He has got a clean slate. He has lost his legs, he’s not been contributing to the team.

“We want people who can run and run, and keep running for 90 minutes for the cause. We are not here to entertain big names, I am sorry, and this is why teams fail.

“Morten Gamst Pedersen, under Sam Allerdyce was possibly three years younger. Wingers lose their pace and if they can’t reinvent themselves as central midfielders they are, quite literally, of no use.

“There are players who are past their sell-by-date. If this club wants to move forward, you need energy, you need vigour.”

Blackburn’s opening match is away at Ipswich followed by home games against Hull and Leicester City.

Amazing…the Chairman proves himself to be an even bigger fool than the clowns calling for Kean’s resignaion. If ever a club and its supporters deserved a reality check iis this one.
