Mohamed Bangura Celtic newsMo Bangura was back on the goal trail as AIK Stockholm beat Djurgarden 3-0 in the Stockholm derby.

The on loan Celtic striker controlled the rebound from a corner before driving home a 20 yard effort to put the visitors 2-0 up and on their way to a fifth consecutive win.

Daniel Majstorovic played his first 90 minutes of the season as AIK kept the pressure on leaders Elfsborg who are two points ahead with eight games left to play.

After a goal-less first half Ghanian striker Kwame Karikari opened the scoring in the 49th minute with Bangura striking in the 71st minute. Four minutes from time Celso Borges Mora completed the scoring.

After the match Majstorovic said: “When you’ve been away for seven months and then have to step into a derby with this fantastic atmosphere it gives you a big boost.

“I felt better and better with every passing minute. We started strongly and ground them down, the longer the game went the more confident I felt.

“Derbies are always special games and this was the last time we’ll play Djurgarden at the Rasunda.

“After seven months out I knew that I wouldn’t be 100% but I’m proud to have come through a game like this.”

Great strike i have always thought this boy has got what it takes, people asking if he was a Money based transfer to simply make a few quid between the relevant parties, think again.
