Craig Whyte Rangers

Craig Whyte is about to spill the beans on the demise of Rangers and reveal how he introduced Charles Green to the stricken club.

Green has always denied any links to the former Motherwell born billionaire who put the Ibrox side into administration in February with a mountain of debts piling up.

Twelve months ago the BBC revealed that Whyte had been hit with a seven year ban from being a director with the then Rangers owner threatening legal action.

Tonight on Reporting Scotland Whyte will give his version of events revealing how he introduced Green to the club and his views on Ticketus and HMRC.

I was driving the train when it crashed, but I didn’t set it on its course,” he claims in the interview with the BBC giving the interview a heavy build up.

Green is currently attempting to launch a £20m share issue to city investors but Whyte’s revelations are likely to turn Sevco fans against Green despite the constant war cries and soundbites from the former Sheffield United chief.

Asked about links with Whyte when he arrived at Ibrox in May Green claimed: “It was complete rubbish. I met Craig Whyte for the very first time a week last Tuesday in London. I gave him a pound out of my own pocket too, so he has made a 100% profit.”

Green’s response to the BBC claims are likely to be watched closely by Sevco fans with a ban for the BBC likely to increase his popularity amongst supporters buying into his vision to turn the club into one of the biggest names in the planet.

Lets be honest guys! If the fans of Sevco are daft enough to still think they are the same club as that old club which used to be called rangers, they are daft enough to believe green too. They follow a third division outfit called “the rangers” a club only alive since July 2012. Founded this year! Yet they are dumb enough to think there is history back 140 years! Yeah, they are daft enough to believe anything while they really believe Whyte was responsible for actions dating back years and years before Whyte could spell “liquidation”

  • Ciaran says:

This is a strange twist. If Whyte and Green are in this together, for the purposes of profit. What the Hell is Whyte doing breaking cover with the share issue just around the corner?

With a friends like that, who needs enemies? Green’s almost impossible task has just become, well, impossible.

We would have to conclude that Whyte has no desire to see Sevco flourish.

    @ Ciaran

the fact that Whyte is breaking cover suggests to me that whatever deal may have been in place. Green isnt keeping his side of the bargain

This has to be the funniest, most entertaining period in Scottish football history (well it is for me)throughout all this comedy, there has been a body of people noticeably silent..no not zombies but similar, they are Scottish REFEREES! I want them investigated, did they get brown enveloped ebts? I believe they did.

Dear Santa, can I have a never ending belly laugh at rangers/sevco did I say Santa?, sorry Dear Mr Whyte……..

  • Andybhoy says:

The Sevco pantomime continues, it really is the gift that just keeps giving.

You’ve got to hand it to Whyte, with the share issue coming up his timing couldn’t be any better, or worse if your Chuckles Green or a member of his zombie army.

Chuckles needn’t worry though I’m sure the Ibrokes PR machine that is Jim ‘Jackanory’ Traynor will be on the case soon enough spinning some fantastic yarn to explain it all away.

    Hail Hail.
