SFA and SFL give McCoist green light for trialist deal

|

David Longmuir newsThe SFA and SFL have given Rangers International the green light to play new signings BEFORE their transfer embargo is lifted.

A soft registration ban was agreed with Charles Green when the then Sevco Scotland were given associate membership of the SFA following the liquidation of Rangers. Included in the secretive five way agreement was a registration ban from 1 September 2012 to 31 August 2013.

SFL clubs are allowed to field upto two trialists in league and Ramsden Cup ties with each trialist allowed to play three times. Describing players who have been paraded as signings such as Cammy Bell, Nicky Law, Jon Daly and Nicky Clark as trialists seems to be stretching the definition but as recent events have shown rules are there to be adapted to meet circumstances.

Confirming and promoting the loophole to the Daily Record, Scottish Football League spokesman Anton Fagan said: “Like everyone else, Rangers will be able to use unregistered players as trialists on three occasions.

“Our season starts with the first round of the Ramsdens Cup and two trialists are allowed in that tie. The clubs asked for that to be introduced last year because it’s so early in the season.

“They will also be able to field them in league fixtures, although the cup tie would count as one of those three appearances.

“If they were a substitute that would also count, even if they didn’t come on.

“However, no trialists are allowed in the League Cup, the first round of which takes place in August.”

Over at the SFA registrations’ chief Sandy Bryson added: “The players can’t be registered with us until September but they can appear in as many challenge matches as they like.

“But as a result of the embargo we cannot request international clearance for players from elsewhere. The trialist rule only applies to footballers who have already been registered in this country.”

There is no limit to the number of ‘trialists’ that can be played in friendly matches but no comment from the SFL on the rule that only allows clubs to register 22 players over the age of 21.

They are fooling no one bar their empty headed soulless fans. This has been common knowledge for some time. The real reason for this publicity is that it is a total deflection away from the following question that should be asked.

Their club is losing £1.2m per month (reported fact), their boardroom is at war with each other (reported fact), investigations into their organisation are ongoing ( reported fact no matter how powder puff) so how can the MSM and authorities not ask WHERE IS THE MONEY COMMING FROM TO PAY THESE PLAYERS??

Also the only gullible numpties that believe these players are going to them because they want to play for a great club and supporters, are the orcs. The rest of the world knows they are unambitious, money chasing deadheads.

By the way I heard Sally wanted Jon daly because he wanted someone at the club to take over the Fat man tag from him.

    Hail hail

“Sandy Bryson?”. Is that the same Sandy Bryson that gave Lord ‘thicky’ Nimmo Smith the benefit of his wisdom with regard to the EBTs?

(As you probably guessed, that’s just a rhetorical question).

The guys above have said what I wanted to say!

  • Stevie says:

Lets not expect any punishment for Sevco or their dead relatives now.
Only punishment they’ll recieve is by us not ever letting them forget that their cheats and a new club with no history.

    • Jimbo102 says:

      Dead right Stevie,

I could take years and years of this but the “Small Projectile Humanoids” (Wee Arra Peepul) are beginning to implode at an alarming rate.

      Hail hail

allowing them to play provan players as trialists BIG CON plus does this mean its part of the agreement nobody gets to see, maybe the European court would listen as thesfl and sfa are clearly giving sevco a very biast advantage buy not taking them to task over ilegall activaty and posably defrauding the fans with a share issue

  • Thai Tim says:

Any fines are appropriated to the oldco Rangers who don’t pay. Transfer bans are not really transfer bans. Sevco don’t need to produce audited accounts same as the oldco. Any misdemeanors or breaking rules can be cleared by conducting its own internal investigation. Sevco represents lying cheating bigots with masonic affiliations supported by vandalising rioting disgusting fans. Maybe that’s the reason they claim they are still the same club as the liquidated Rangers?

  • Gerryj67 says:

Allowing them to play contracted players as trialists is cheating. If Sevco get an invite to play in SPL2 can they still play trialists? If Sevco can’t produce audited accounts can the join SPL2?

  • Thai Tim says:

The administrators of our game explained to us thicko’s – if we don’t help Sevco along the way with their lying and cheating, bending the rules wherever necessary to help with their progress, then we all face armaggedon.

  • buffythecat says:

Stuart Regan should not just be sacked as an incompetent buffoon but should be jailed for the level of corruption he has been involved in since being installed by the Orange Lodge’s SFA branch!
