There will be a few out there who might remember me as a writer for the Celtic Hub.
Probably the last of the old guard,(ran away from home, went to sea, became a cabin boy on Noah’s Ark).
Despite being in my latter years, still a Celt to the end.
Do not buy into or listen to the media in this small minded country of ours.
There is one exception, I read the Evening Times. Main reason is to check out the Hatches, Matches and Despatches to make sure that that I am still about.
Friday’s edition caused me to make this post.
Goes with my headline. Talking about the the greatest football pundit of all time, the one who knows all, but unfortunately has the worst prediction record of all time. Namely Derek (the legend ) Johnstone.
He gushes over the fact that the SFL associate club have won the 4th. tier division title, and there will be 50,000+ there to celebrate this magnificient performance.
He goes on to tell us about the emergence of of the new kids on the block. The same kids that lost to Peterhead, Annan and Stirling Alion. Could only take draws against others. Were wiped out of the cups, except when it was the night they played against McCall’s (lie down against newco) team.
This guy is in dreamland, he is still going on about all the players that are on the radar. Does not tell us about the 22 player limitation on SFL clubs. Only the other day, the Kilimarnock goalkeeper, who we had told was signed on a pre-season contract, was forced to make it clear that he had not even been contacted.
But still the rubbish goes on, still the real facts are not made public.
Through people like the above named legend, and others, they will use any method at their disposal to sell the still associate club to the vulnerable.
WHEN WILL THEY LEARN?
Do us a favour mate, open up the Hub again! I loved posting on there and reading your blogs.

Know where you are coming from, it would be nice if things went back, does not always happen.
The most important thing is this, that Joe has maintained this site, made it open to all and always insisted on proper standards being retained.

The Hub will never open again. One of main reasons is the domain name now costs 5k to buy.

They can run – They can lie – They can bury their heads in the sand…but the truth will still come out – they are DEAD.
While I fully expect them to re-incarnate once again, not even the easily deluded will be fooled so quickly this time around. Season ticket sales will drop like a brick, not quite as fast as their share prices though.
Until they truly own up to all their cheating and build from the ground up on a solid basis they will fail again.
Currently losing £ 1m a month they are heading only one way…right down the plughole.
Celtic should be running amok in taking any of their most promising kids from 11s – 17s
and really putting a distance between us they can only dream of closing.

just looked at the league table of the 3rd div, don’t know why as I have never in my life done this, anyway it seems a part time club called Peterhead let in less goals than a keeper who thinks he’s better than the 3rd div,,,i hope this mob dies and I hope the hmrc wins the case. and the share price goes down to 10p enough for a loaf and craig whyte gets to keep ibrox and turns it into a pet farm and chuckles get to hear the champions league theme tune from his nursing home and fat sally gets a top managers job in macDonalds in argyle street

Congrats on your blog Joe but there one problem, they will never learn as long as they have Scottish media on their side backing up everything they say.
We all know the truth after last years panto between oldco/sfa/sevco etc but the media want to help them as f.all went wrong, as long as they have muppets like fat dj to write this guff in the papers. keep up you good work m8. HH

How can a manager of the 2nd div won the manager of the year ahead of Neil Lennon who easily the Premier league and qualified for the last 16 of the Champions league which was a great achievement
So long as Celtic win the big prizes fair and square who cares about the daft wee trinkets handed out by the corrupt powers at be?
