Craig Mather Ian Hart has walked away from his role as a director at Sevco.

Two weeks ahead of the club’s first ever AGM, if it is given the go-ahead at the Court of Session, Harte has walked away from his role as a non-executive.

Hart’s departure further strengthens the Green team in the Ibrox boardroom headed up by Craig Mather and Brian Stockbridge and backed by the Easdale brothers, James and Sandy, a former convict.

Over the last two months Walter Smith, Malcolm Murray and Phil Cartmell have quit the board who last week announced losses of over £1m a month.

A statement to the Alternative Investment Market said: “The Company today announces that Ian Hart, Non-Executive Director, has resigned from the board in order to pursue the charitable work in which he is involved more actively.

Craig Mather, Chief Executive Officer, commented: “it is with sadness that we see Ian depart from the board and we would like to thank him for his valuable contribution over the past year. Ian remains a huge fan of the Club and we wish him the best of success in future.”

Meanwhile there is increased speculation that Dave King could be lined up to fill the vacancy as club chairman.

King recently admitted to over £45m of tax offences to the South African authorities and met up with Mather and Stockbridge at his luxurious state-of-the-art mansion in South Africa.

Despite being a director of a club that went into administration in February 2011 followed by liquidation four months later it’s likely than the SFA will approve King’s appointment as a director.

Sending out the message about King’s return Ally McCoist said: “Someone like Dave King has already invested vast sums of his own money into Rangers and that tells me he’s the kind of investor we need at this club again.

“The recent accounts have been well documented and the fact of the matter is we will need  reinvestment at some stage in the future.

“If we are going to get  reinvestment, then it would be good to get it from someone who has definitely got the best interests of the club at heart.

“Dave King has, and clearly the board also believe that to be the case.

“From my point of view, the fact that a member of the current board has flown to South Africa for talks would indicate they also feel it would be hugely beneficial to have Dave back on board. It can only be a good thing for Rangers.”

    The facts here are astonishing.

Fact King has had to pay back South African Govt £45m

Fact King has lost £20m investment in the dead club rangers.

I don’t care what kind of billionaire you are, if you’ve lost at least £65m in the past 10 years you will be looking to recoup it back somehow.

What an opportunity for him to go in there at sevco and squeak every pip they have.

Anybody else notice the trend here? Days/weeks after their board makes a decision or acts, Sleekit surfaces from under the dung heap to splutter his approval (maybe it takes that long for the cheques to get to his offshore account).

The Easdales and King !!!!!! They make Agent Whyte look like an alterboy.

The orcs must be shi..ing themselves at the moment as authorities now seriously looking at relegation for administration. It couldn’t happen!! Could it???

    Hail hail

Suppose the SFA will be chucking their rulebook oot the windae once again for the benefit of their Ibrox overlords as I don’t think King would meet their fit and proper persons criteria. Wonder if Peter Lawell has any input on this or is he just a token tim on the SFA’s board so they can appear to be balancing out the influence of Ogilvie.

Whilst on the subject of King, does the Daily Record never learn. After taking up residence in the back pocket of David Murray for over 20 years where they wrote fawning articles by the light of the moonbeams that shone out of his arse only to later find out those moonbeams were actually a torrent of shite, they subsequently went on to hail both Craig Whyte and Charles green as messiahs before denouncing them as false prophets as it became clear they were shafting ‘ra peepul’.

Next up was the turn of the third and fourth messiahs Paul Murray and Jim McColl who have been given many column inches to spread their word and now we have the fifth who they have dubbed the ‘New King of Ibrox’ (see what they did there). There have been more mentions of the messiah in the Daily Record than there ever was in the bible.

Ffs! It’s like the Daily Record editors hit a factory reset button on the back of their journos heads because all they seem to do is write the same article over and over about messiahs and warchests with the only difference being the name of sevco’s next saviour. The name Daily Record couldn’t be more apt because they play the same record every fecking day.

    Hail Hail.

That’s why you shouldn’t buy it Andybhoy. Now the headline NUCING OF IBROX would be more apt.
      Hail hail

I came to my senses and stopped wasting my hard earned cash on that rag many years ago Jimbo, unfortunately a few of my work colleagues have still to see the light (most of them of the zombie persuasion right enough) and are still willing to part with their pennies as it’s ‘Ibrox Exclusives’ (that still makes me laugh) gives them little slivers of hope.

I do admit to having a quick flick through it’s sports pages on occasion, but I always shower afterwards.

King is the type of investor called a ‘ vulture’ capitalist It was well documented in his 45 million fraud case with South Africa.READALLABOUTITFOOLS Yet McCoist would welcome him back with open arms. Why ?. because they are one and the same, do anything for money. You can bet money on King getting his pound of flesh supported by the Easdales ,Mather, Whyte, Green ,McCoist and the rest of the Vultures at Ibrox . What does it take for the fools to realise these guys are all selfish ,self-centered Vultures

  • Pemmaj says:

Feckin brilliant Andybhoy, fair brightened up my day cheers.

    • Andybhoy says:

Cheers Pemmaj. You can’t help but mock them and their journo pals, they get more ridiculous by the day.

      Hail Hail.

  • Jimbo102 says:

By the morning of the 25th, if the current board at mordor is still in place and Dave King is nowhere to be seen, then I am definately not going to be walking under any high structures for a week, as I fear orcs will be throwing themselves off any structure over two stories high.
    Hail hail
