Ronny Deila will have a full squad to choose from for the League Cup Final against Dundee United.
Scott Brown, Leigh Griffiths and Mikael Lustig all picked up booking in the semi final against Sevco but neither had been booked in the previous rounds against Hearts or Partick Thistle.
Dundee United will be without match-winner Nadir Cifti who picked up his second booking of the tournament as he celebrated the winner against Aberdeen.
Realising that he would miss the final Ciftci said: “It’s devastating. I didn’t know about it before the game. I didn’t go into the match thinking about being booked again, it’s only now that I remember the booking against Hibs.
“It’s really hard to take because I’ve gone from a great high to such a disappointment. It’s harsh that two bookings can put you out of a final but there’s nothing I can do about it now. I just have to accept it and when the final comes around I’ll be supporting the team.”
After watching his side book their place in the final Celtic boss Ronny Deila said: “The players were focused and we performed very well, so I’m proud of the boys. I feel 2-0 was a fair result. We had four chances in the first half and scored two and that was ok. In the second half, we didn’t have many but they didn’t have a shot on target.
“We were very well organised and very well disciplined and you could see they were playing for the result. I’m very happy at the performance.
“Going into a cup match, you have to be very focused and we did that, along with being very disciplined. They didn’t have a chance in the end.
“We wanted to go forward to kill the game. But we killed it another way – we were solid at the back and kept them away from our goal.
“We wanted to attack more but we are a passing team and you had no chance to pass the ball on that pitch, the quality of the pitch is not what a League Cup semi-final should be played on.”
