Last night the striker was quick to congratulate Stevie Frail’s u-20 squad on beating Hibs 6-0 to reach the final of the SFA Youth Cup.
One Aberdeen fan decided to highlight that his own side had won the Development League but Griffiths replied bringing the subject back to first team matters.

Celtic’s 0-0 draw last week with Falkirk put the title beyond the hoops who had won five consecutive title at u-19, u-20 and into the current Development League status.
Despite losing the title Celtic bounced back to beat St Johnstone 2-0 on Monday and play St Mirren away on Monday before completing the league campaign at home to Kilmarnock three days later.
Griffiths initial tweet came shortly after Luke Donnelly had netted four times in the 6-0 win over Hibs at Cappielow.
Four goals in a 13 minute burst midway through the first half crushed the Edinburgh side to book Celtic a place in the final which is scheduled for May 21.
To reach the final Celtic saw off Motherwell, Dundee United and Hamilton before last night’s emphatic win over Hibs.
While the Development League allows five players over 20 years of age to be fielded the SFA Youth Cup is for u-20’s only.
Eoghan O’Connell started his first match since undergoing hernia surgery and played for an hour in a central midfield role.
Ryan Currie and Sam Wardrop made their first appearances in the tournament with Currie on the score-sheet and right back Wwardop involved in three of the goals.
Midfielders Joe Thomson and Jamie Lindsay missed out through injury while Calvin Miller, Mark Hill and Regan Hendry are on international duty with Scotland’s u-17 squad.
