Stuart McCall Bilel Mohsni has slammed Stuart McCall after being hit with an additional three match SFA ban.

The Tunisian international star lashed out violently at Motherwell’s Lee Erwin following Sevco’s 6-1 aggregate defeat in the Premiership play-off.

After the game, despite claims at not seeing the incident unfold, McCall said that he’d never allow Mohsni to play for the club again.

McCall, his assistant Kenny Black and eleven players, including Mohsni, have been released by the crisis hit club with the defender hitting back at the Scotland international coach.

Ally McCoist trusted me and I did very well under him,” the defender claimed. “I scored 12 goals from centre-back, but McCall didn’t trust me. That was disappointing, very disappointing.

“He didn’t think I was good enough to play for him. I played against Queen of the South when we lost 3-0 and he blamed me for the game, so I was like: ‘Wow, this manager doesn’t like me. Okay, no problem’.

“When I heard what he said after the play-off, I was like: ‘Wow, wow, wow’. Normally, every manager protects their player, whether they are wrong or not.

“Him? He didn’t have a job and he was still like: ‘I’m not going to re-sign him’. He didn’t have the job, so why is he speaking?

“After May 31, both of us were out of a job, so it was not his business to speak about me.”

Mohsni was recently linked with a move to the Bundesliga but has so far failed to get fixed up for next season. Today’s three match ban is added to the automatic four match ban he picked up for striking Erwin.
