Dave King The official website of Sevco has been silent on all first team matters for four days.

Since the appointment of Mark Warburton a manager the club website was filled cyberspace with upbeat stories to convince supporters to part with their hard earned cash for season tickets. The phrase co-investors has featured heavily although none of the current directors have invested a penny in the club.

The last article on first team matters was on Friday afternoon with a look back at fixtures between Rangers (IL) and Spurs which followed on from a video clip of Warbo getting on the team bus alongside details of ‘three 30 minute half’s’ against Spurs.

Since then silence, not even a comment on the plucky 3-2 defeat from a star studded Spurs u-17 side.

On Thursday co-investors could read about how impressed Warbo was with the iron curtain defence of Danny Wilson and Rob Kiernan, earlier in the day there was pictures from training, an article on the rush for season tickets (now available to the public) and youth star Tom Lang’s ambitions for the season after signing a one year contract.

Each article was linked to buying season tickets as Dave King attempts to find 45,000 co-investors willing to fund whatever his plans are for the club.

The void in first team news has been filled in with news on the u-20 side with great emphasis placed on Saturday’s 4-0 win over Dumbarton at Murray Park.

Ian Durrant and chief star-maker Craig Mulholland have given their views on the clash with glowing praise for the latest batch of kids coming through the ranks at Murray Park.

With just three new signings ahead of next Saturday’s Petrofac Cup clash away to Hibs Warbo will have his work cut out as he takes charge of the club for the first time although a couple of Wigan stars are apparently being lined up for trials alongside Andy Halliday and Doncaster’s version of Danni Alves.

In a not unconnected development the twitter feed of the Level 5 PR account, headed up by heavyweight former Sevco media chief Jim Traynor, has also fallen silent.

Sevco currently has no auditor, nominated adviser or exchange to trade shares in. Mr King was described as a glib and shameless liar by a judge during a court case into his tax affairs in South Africa.

So, even Traynor has limits to what he will do when his billings aren’t being paid …
