Ronny Deila has said that Kris Commons will play many games in the future for Celtic.
Commons had a very public row with John Collins after being substitued by Nadir Ciftci with 15 minutes remaining in Celtic’s 3-1 defeat to Molde.
The Norwegian side found themselves 2-0 up in under 20 minutes before Commons pulled a goal back early in the second half only for Molde to regain their two goal advantage within 60 seconds.
The decision to replace Commons was met by booing from the 700 travelling supporters with television viewers witnessing his angry reaction from the dug out.
“We wanted to have two strikers on but you always need to have balance,” Deila told BT Sports straight after the match. “We couldn’t have four strikers on the park then we wouldn’t win the ball. We have to win it.
“Kris does well, he’s played many games and he’s going to have many games in the future as well, he wants to win and play but of course I don’t like his reaction. It’s very important to say that, it is a team, it’s not about a single player.”
Asked if he’d speak to Commons about his reaction Deila replied: “Of course, that’s not acceptable. Every decision that you make has to be as a team and that was not as a team, that wasn’t good enough.”
Celtic host Molde in two weeks time before taking on Ajax at home then completing the group away to Fenerbahce in December.
Fenerbahce beat Ajax 1-0 tonight to move into second place on four points, three behind Molde with Celtic and Ajax in bottom spot with two points from three matches.

I said before the game Deila was already looking for a scapegoat to blame. Well, he found one. Our best player! Deila drags us down. We are allowing other clubs to catch us up. We are being blind and naive if we don’t see that Sevco will be challenging next season.
