Stewart ReganStewart Regan has described that latest FIFA revelations from Sepp Blatter as shocking.

In an interview conducted in English for the Russian news agency TASS the Fifa president claimed that the host nation for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup Finals had been decided in advance of a vote.

England, the USA, Australia and other countries mounted expensive campaigns to host those competitions and are now believed to be considering legal action against FIFA.

Speaking to Sky Sports Regan said: “I think it’s shocking, I think it’s absolutely shocking but ultimately we need to see those facts rather than hear them from Mr Blatter.

“He will probably say that he was misquoted or he’s speaking in English, which is not his normal language, and he didn’t mean what he said.

“If what he said is true, it’s absolutely shocking for the game of football and it’s another example of why we need a change of leadership at the top of the game.

“I’m sure those comments yesterday will be investigated fully and the facts made available. It’s really damaging for FIFA.

“It doesn’t do anything for the game when countries, governments and local authorities are spending millions of pounds and bidding for major competitions to come to their country and then to hear a decision has already been made. It’s outrageous.”

While voicing his concerns about matters at FIFA the SFA have yet to pass any comment on the fraud case involving the asset transfer that allowed Charles Green’s Sevco club to be formed in 2012.

Earlier today Craig Whyte was declared bankrupt after an action by Ticketus who are now expected to step up their claims over Ibrox Stadium and the state-of-the-art Murray Park Training Academy.

Regan and Doncaster have taken Scottish football to the brink but despite their efforts the game has survived.

It’s pure irony that Regan can comment on corruption at FIFA after what’s gone on here.

Conflicted officials, secret agreements, rules bent to suit circumstances and finally criminal charges against people that have been given F&P status despite their previous history.

Then compare the FA handling of Cellino by the FA with the SFA ‘ S handling of King.

Yes sir, no sir, 3 bags full sir Mr King.

This is about to come back and bite them on the bum. A GASL with criminal convictions in South Africa welcomed with open arms into our game, again.

Obviously not a single lesson learnt from the Whyte and Green debacles.

Whilst the Daily Radar, ET and Herald happily continue with the Rangers good, couldn’t be better news, the latest being a flurry of top class signings in the January window, what could possibly go wrong?
King’s recent out of the blue statement seems strange in terms of timing and the content is even stranger.
There are widespread rumours that SD have served some sort of cease and desist notice on the Rangers board as a result of their negative response to paying back the £5m loan and that the terms of that loan have been breached.
If so it could be catastrophic for the Ibrox club. King has his loan secured on IP, Murray Park, Albion Car Park and Edmiston House.
In the face of the loan remaining unpaid SD could be moving to grab the secured assets, the result of which could be the removal of all signage from jerseys and other IP, a ???? on Murray Park, ditto Albion Car Park and Edmiston House.
That I think may actually get the attention of the Bears who up till now have been fed a daily stream of bullsh*t courtesy of Level 5 at a eye watering cost.
Events seem to be moving apace, wonder when TMSSM will catch up?
