Ronny Deila could be without FIVE first team regulars for Wednesday’s visit to Dens Park to face Dundee.

Top scorer Leigh Griffiths looks like missing out, joining Scott Brown on the sidelines with Kris Commons, Dedryck Boyata and Stuart Armstrong all doubtful for the match.

First half injuries to Armstrong and Boyata forced Deila into changes during the 2-2 draw with Hearts but it’s the absence of Griffiths that will cause the hoops support most concern.

Dedryck got a hamstring injury and Stuart has problems with his back so it will be very hard to get them ready for Wednesday,” the Celtic boss revealed.

“Leigh tested himself in Saturday and he wasn’t totally there. He is still he is getting stiffness in his calf when he starts running so it is still too early.

“He is very close, it could be Wednesday, it could be Saturday, it could be a week after but it is not a long-term injury.

“Kris got a knock in training, unfortunately it was a normal tackle but he got a bad hit and got a swollen ankle.

“We have to take a picture (scan) of it but we don’t think it is a very serious thing and hopefully he can be ready for Wednesday.

“Efe and Mikael went down as well but we got through it and we got a point. It was an okay performance and that is something we have to take with us. I am satisfied with a lot of things.”

Young Liam badly missed yesterday. Not a woos like rest of our midfield. Who in there can tackle or apply any physicality. We are like a wet paper bag in there. Biton and Johanssen and McGregor.-the Great Floodsaving Wall of Cumbria.

Can I be honest about our wet paper mid-field recently I have watched our team being kick up and down, referee`s wagging fingers at them, so when our wet paper players make strong tackle opponents the go down what do refs do yes yellow cards so we have to think about how many cards before suspended, its a pet hate of mine in our clubs programme`s the show who has yellow cards to there names, ref`s look at programmes as well, also Thursday meetings is all about Sevco and cards, am not Paranoid

Just a shame Johannsen wasnt on the list… I’d like to see Scott Allan replace him in midfield… Seriously over complimented in the midfield department and id say its where we are lacking the most in terms of desire! Too many lacking creativity and flair yet whilst its robust, its painful to watch!

Patiently waiting the January sales. Although Ronnie will probably buy another midfield prospect and send Broonie out on loan to Cowdenbeath.. Sell Gordon and shift Lustig in goals thus making Izzy the backup keeper! Clueless!
