Ronny Deila faces an anxious wait to find out the extent of Stefan Johansen’s injury.

Right on half time the midfielder came out second best in a challenge from ex Celt Mikey Miller.

Willie Collum refused to give Celtic a free-kick with the player treated on the pitch as the teams left the park at the interval.

Johansen was stretchered off the park and replaced by Patrick Roberts with Deila unclear about the extent of the injury.

Asked after the match about the injury Deila said: “Hopefully he’s okay. It was a knock but we’ll get more answers tomorrow.

“I haven’t seen the challenge again but it looked like a stretched leg straight into his ankle”

Asked about the pressure he has been under over the last week Deila said: ” I am my biggest critic here and I have been in this game a long time.

“When everything is crazy around you, you have to stay calm. It is a game of football and we have everything in our hands.

“The players are winners, they hate losing and performing badly and they wanted to show the other side today and this is something we want to build on.

“It is our fourth semi-final in two years. We have two games left to hopefully lift a trophy. We will take what is in front of us.”

Celtic have a free week before facing Partick Thistle at Firhill on Saturday, Aberdeen visit Partick on Tuesday.
