Celtic v UMF Stjarnan - UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying Round First Leg

Ronny Deila has made just three changes from the Celtic side that lost at Hampden last week for the visit of Ross County.

Eric Sviatchenko, Tom Rogic and Colin Kazim Richards come into the side with Dedryck Boyata, Gary Mackay Steven and Stefan Johansen.

Boyata and Johansen picked up injuries at Hampden leaving Mackay Steven as the only player to drop out following the Scottish Cup defeat.

Sviachencko and Rogic both impressed as substitutes at Hampden but the introduction of Richards ahead of Kris Commons and Ryan Christie, who are both listed as substitutes, is bound to puzzle supporters.

Looking at his remaining time in charge Deila said: “We’re not going to change everything we do. We’re going to keep on. We have won a lot of football games and we hadn’t lost since February before last weekend.

Everybody will see out the season and we will not do any evaluation of it until after the season and we’ll take it at that time.

This game is going to be very important now. We want to bounce back from the disappointment we had at the weekend because that was a very big blow for everybody and I can see that in the eyes of the players.

So that’s what we want to see on the pitch on Sunday – wanting to get that bounce back in a very strong way and put pressure on everybody else to win this league.”

CELTIC: Gordon; Lustig, Sviatchenko, Mulgrew, Tierney; Brown, Bitton, Roberts, Rogic, Kazim-Richards; Griffiths

SUBS: Bailly, Ambrose, McGregor, Armstrong, Christie, Commons, Mackay-Steven
