Lawwell BankierRonny Deila insisted that the destination of the Premiership title is still in Celtic’s hands.

A 0-0 draw at Dens Park took the hoops five points clear of Aberdeen with six matches left to play, a trip to Motherwell on Saturday followed by the post split fixtures.

After Saturday’s win over Hearts full points tonight would have cemented Celtic’s place at the top of the table but a win for Aberdeen at Tynecastle on Friday night would see the gap cut to just two points when Celtic kick off against Motherwell.

With Leigh Griffiths off form Celtic’s goal threat was dramatically reduced with the traveling support voicing their displeasure as the final whistle blew.

It was a frustrating night, we had a clean sheet which was a positive but offensively we should have created a little bit more,” Deila said.

The last pass wasn’t good enough, we had a couple of chances where if we had taken an extra pass we would have been in on the goalkeeper. We created enough chances to win the game, we could create more and that’s something that we have to work on for Saturday.”

Dundee are a little bit side, recently they have been scoring a few goals and conceding as well, 0-0 is a strange result. Everything is in our hands, we have to get ready for Saturday.”

Erik Sviatchenko had to be substituted midway through the first half with the defenders injury being assessed tomorrow.

Deila admitted: “He (Sviatchenko) had something in his thigh, we don’t know how serious it is, we will give him a scan tomorrow. Hopefully Tom Rogic will be back for the game with Motherwell.”
