Wacky Kenny Miller believes that Mark Warburton is a future England manager!
The former city trader has never managed in the top flight and was overlooked for jobs at Derby, Leeds, Blackburn, Rotherham and Leeds United during the summer.
Despite those blunt facts veteran striker Miller feels that the magic hat is destined to follow Sven-Goran Eriksson, Fabio Capello, Bobby Robson and Alf Ramsey into one of the top jobs in international football!
Miller told The Scottish Sun: “We can’t speak highly enough of the job that the manager has done here. I don’t see why he won’t be linked with the England job in the future.
“He’s a man with a vision, he’s really driven and he wants to get to the very top, there is no doubt about it.”
Despite being tipped as a future England boss Warbo remains on a £6,000/week deal at Ibrox, shacking up in a flat with Davie Weir 400 miles away from his wife and family.
With Joseph Barton picking up £25,000 a week Warbo seems in no rush to sign up to another cut price Ibrox deal.
Providing an update on his contract negotiations Warbo said: “I said previously we had opened discussions, then I went on holiday. We will re-open these discussions when we go back and hopefully reach a suitable conclusion.
“You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t – you say nothing and it’s a case of: ‘He’s going.’ You can’t win. It’s difficult so it will be good to put it to rest and give some clarification to it.”
