Jordan Larsson has gone to town on the twitter yarn that he is set to join Mark Warburton’s Sevco revolution!

Twitter picked up on the story yesterday with the Celtic daft teenager quick to dismiss the notion.

As his dad plunged his way to 242 goals during seven seasons at Celtic young Jordan was regularly cheering from the stands then racing onto the park for a kickabout as soon as the match was over.

Even at the age of seven Jordan understood the rivalry between the two city clubs with a move to Glasgow to join the tribute act not on his career plan.

Among the messages he retweeted yesterday were: “Best twitter transfer rumour of the silly season so far: Jordan Larsson going to Rangers. haha love it!”

After some folk got a little upset at his reaction Jordan tweeted: “No need for people to be offended or be offensive. It’s all in good fun and just a bit of banter. People need to chill.”

Having broken into the Swedish u-21 side and scored 5 goals in 13 games for Helsingborg Jordan will be closely monitored by most scouts.

A move out of Sweden seems inevitable in the next 18 months with Holland the most likely destination- following in the footsteps of his dad who joined Feyernoord.

The Rotterdam side had Jordan over on trial a number of years ago but it seems that working alongside his dad has inspired Jordan rather than worry over comparisons.

Whether that could be followed by a move to Celtic is the $64m question but with the scouting policy focussing on young emerging talent outwith the big five leagues young Jordan is bound to be on a pending file somewhere inside Lennoxtown.
