It’s fair to say that Darlington Nagbe was well impressed by his first visit to Celtic Park.
The Portland Timbers midfielder was a guest of the hoops last night ahead of a potential £1.5m January deal.
Like most visitors it didn’t take Nagbe long to appreciate the magic of Celtic Park on a big European night.

Nagbe is in his sixth season with Timbers and at the age of 27 is believed to be keen to get the chance of playing in Europe.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers stated at the start of September that he had failed to bring in a creative midfielder during the summer transfer window.
With the club bringing in around £30m from this season’s Champions League run Rodgers is looking to strengthen his squad in January with a view to next season’s Champions League qualifiers.
Rodgers only signed five players during the summer with the former Liverpool boss concentrating on adding quality to his squad rather than bulking it up with numbers.
