Moussa Dembele won’t be quitting Celtic for a big money offer in January.

The young Frenchman is the hottest young striking prospect in Europe after making a storming start to his Celtic career including three goals in the Champions League.

Last week’s double for France against the England u-21 side added to Dembele’s reputation but after turning his back on English offers during the summer to experience the Champions League Dembele has his mind set on another crack at Europe next season.

For me, I am here until the end of my contract and for many years,” he told The Sun last night. “Leaving is not something I think about. I don’t listen to those stories.

I want to keep playing in the Champions League and keep playing in the Champions League for Celtic first.

I think I will stay here 100?per cent. I want to keep improving and keep developing as a player.”

Dembele added: “Coming to Celtic and playing in the Champions League hasn’t just been good for me, it’s been good for the whole squad. We have a lot of young players and we have picked up a lot of experience against the best teams in the world.

Hopefully we can come back even stronger next season. The difference in games at this level is about small details, and small details come from experience.

We don’t have a lot of Champions League experience as a team but we are learning all the time.”

Cross border contract rules meant that Celtic only had to pay £500,000 to Fulham for the 19-year-old striker.

Dembele started the SPFL season as Celtic’s second choice striker but a hamstring injury to Leigh Griffiths gave him a starting place against Sevco where he scored a hat-trick in Celtic’s 5-1 win.

Griffiths has been unable to win his place back with Dembele going on to score a number of vital goals with his double against Manchester City, the second from an overhead kick, putting him on the wanted list of Europe’s richest clubs.
