Erik Sviatchenko isn’t sure what to make of Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach.
After losing 2-0 at home to the Germans a point from Borussia Park has to be viewed as an improvement although it leaves Celtic two points adrift at the bottom of Group C.
To stand a chance of picking up a Europa League spot the hoops will have to beat Barcelona or Manchester City and hope that Monchengladbach are unable to match that achievement.
Important point in a difficult away game. We could have taken it all in the end though ??????????????… https://t.co/F7CroVKEeC

Last night Sviatchenko was partnered in central defence by Mikael Lustig having played alongside Kolo Toure in the previous Champions League ties.
In the SPFL Jozo Simunovic has been Sviatchenko’s regular partner with Celtic on a run of five domestic matches without losing a goal.
On Saturday Celtic host Inverness Caley Thistle with the highland side the only team to have taken points off the hoops this season.
Celtic dominated the match at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium in September but had to settle for a 2-2 with Alex Fisher netting an 89th minute equaliser for the homeside,
Since then Celtic have lost just one goal, in the next match at home to Kilmarnock, with Craig Gordon unbeaten in domestic games since taking over from Dorus De Vries.
