Mikael Lustig, Erik Svoatchenko, James Forrest and Scott Brown have been named by Chris Sutton in his SPFL Team of the Week.

The hoops quartet helped Brendan Rodgers’ side lift the Betfred Cup on Sunday with Forrest picking up the Man of the Match award after scoring the second goal of the game.

Despite that impressive presence Hearts managed to edge Celtic out with five members of Robbie Neilson’s side that beat Motherwell 3-0 on Saturday’s making it into Sutton’s side.

Defenders John Souttar and Faycal Rherras are alongside Lustig and Sviatchenko. Arnaud Djoum and Jamie Walker make it into the midfield while Bjorn Johnsen is partnered in attack by Sevco wonderkid Joe Dodoo.

Gary Woods of Hearts earns the gloves.

On Wednesday night Sutton will be at Tynecastle to see Hearts take on Sevco knowing that any sort of win will lift them into second place, ahead of Mark Warburton’s side on goal difference.
