Celtic didn’t hang about when it came to celebrating their 100th trophy success with a video of the after match celebrations quickly added to the club’s You Tube channel.
Starting off the Scott Brown leading the players up to the trophy presentation the six minute clip captures all the celebrations as the players enjoy a half lap of hour showing the trophy off to the fans.
Mikael Lustig and Erik Sviatchenko managed to locate their national flags while some of their team-mates settled for pulling funny faces for the photographers.
In the background, or perhaps the foreground, the fans celebrated the success of their side, one that has been totally transformed in six months under Brendan Rodgers.
The Irishman may wish to take a place in the background but with the results he has achieved and passionate comments about the club that’s never going to be the case!
Rodgers will remain centre stage for as long as he is at Celtic with few if any dissenting voices about his style of management.
After beating Sevco in the Betfred semi final the hoops boss talked about delivering something tangible to show for the early season efforts- more than half of Hampden celebrated that trophy win yesterday in the full expectation that there will be plenty more party days and nights to follow.
