Two Celtic fixtures have been selected for Sunday service after the winter break.

The home match with Hearts has been put back a day to January 29 with a 1pm kick off with Brendan Rodgers side also in action the following Sunday, February 5, away to St Johnstone with a 12.30pm kick off. Both matches will be screened by Sky Sports who weren’t the most popular of broadcaster after the recent 4-3 win at Motherwell.

By that stage Celtic should have cleared their fixture backlog with a home match against St Johnstone scheduled for Wednesday January 25 which won’t be televised.

Tonight Celtic begin to clear the backlog with the visit of Hamilton Accies which was scheduled for the weekend of the Betfred Cup semi-final win over Sevco.

The hoops will be in action again next Tuesday at home to Partick Thistle while there is a full midweek card on December 28 with Celtic at home to Ross County.
