James Forrest is fit and available for Saturday’s match away to Hamilton Accies.

Brendan Rodgers delivered the news today as he looked forward to the trip to the Superseal Stadium.

Forrest picked up what looked like a groin or hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw away to Manchester City in the Champions League.

The winger has been one of the biggest success stories of the season and was rewarded in July with a new improved contract after impressing Rodgers with his performances and attitude.

With Scott Sinclair also back from injury Rodgers has his three main wide options available again with Patrick Roberts starting the 1-0 win over Hamilton Accies.

Tom Rogic will miss the visit to Hamilton but Rodgers is confident that the Australian midfielder will be fit to face Ross County on Wednesday before the year ends with a trip to Ibrox to take on new boys Sevco.
