When it comes to communications Motherwell are really on the ball.

Yesterday at lunchtime supporters were raving about the seven goal thriller at Fir Park sealed by Tom Rogic’s dramatic late winner.

There was a real thirst for the match despite Sky Sports shutting up shop as quickly as possible after the match.

One subject that unites most football supporters is the sub standard coverage of the Scottish game with only BT Sport appearing to show more than a token interest.

With a great schedule of matches it really shouldn’t be too difficult to put together an online highlights package at seven or eight o’clock to build momentum and continue the excitement from the Saturday matches rather than waiting for Sportscene on a Sunday evening.

Stepping into the breach to an extent is Motherwell TV. The Lanarkshire side seem to be the only club that will put highlights up despite the midnight embargo.

Rather than using the Sky Sports coverage the club’s own cameras are more distant and pick up more of the action.

Louis Moult shows good anticipation for his two goals while Callum McGregor’s nerve as he goes through the Motherwell defence for Celtic’s first goal is equally impressive.

Celtic’s comeback and the celebrations are given the same attention as the home goals, more coverage like this and Scottish football may just accelerate through the post Armageddon phase.
