American ace set for Sevco talks

|

Bournemouth misfit Emerson Hyndman got an Easyjet flight to Glasgow to discuss a sensational Sevco (loan) swoop.

After being snubbed by Brentford’s Jota and with Jon Toral in no rush to quit Granada to sign for the tribute act action was needed to distract the gullible from the size of Mark Warburton’s transfer war-chest.

With Clint Hill the pick of Warbo’s summer signings the former city trader has been told that no more money is available for the battle for second place.

Hyndman had the appearance of a lost college kid as he arrived at Glasgow Airport with no sign of a club official or company car to whisk him off to visit the state-of-the-art training facilities at Murray Park. Sean Connery was unavailable for comment.

Yesterday, in his first top team appearances since featuring against Preston in September, Hyndman was hooked off after 56 minutes as Bournemouth crashed out of the FA Cup to League One Millwall.

In his two EFL Cup tie appearances the 20-year-old appeared twice as an 89th minute substitute against Morecambe and Preston.
