Sevco are hoping to convince Granada flop Jon Toral to join the Warbo revolution.

According to a report in the Daily Record the former city trader is hot on the trail of the Arsenal midfielder after his plans to sign Jota on loan were rejected.

With no money to spend on transfer fees this month Warbo has had to look at the loan market and hope that his extensive contacts within English football can uncover the next Patrick Roberts.

Toral had a decent spell on loan at Birmingham last season but his move to Granada has been a complete disaster with the Spanish side looking to ditch the Arsenal flop.

In five La Liga appearances he has picked up two yellow cards with Granada failing to win any of the matches that Toral has featured in.

Toral is currently suffering from a sprained ankle but after Nico Kranjcar and Jordan Rossiter passed their Ibrox medical that shouldn’t be a concern if he can be convinced that playing alongside Andy Halliday and Jason Holt will be a good career move.
