With no sign of a new contract from Ibrox Kenny Miller isn’t short of worries as he ‘enjoys’ a three week winter break.

Taking on the captaincy from Lee Wallace to meet Celtic on Saturday should have been a career high- when he scored in the 12th minute he must have felt that the script was going to plan.

Moussa Dembele’s 33rd minute equaliser changed the dynamic of the game, Scott Sinclair increased Celtic’s lead and it could have been four or five given a break around goal.

There was however one moment of worry for the hoops but when he had the chance to level the scores late on in the match Miller lost his nerve.

Guiding his shot wide of Craig Gordon the former Vancouver Whitecaps marksman looked on in agony as his shot struck the post before falling to Scott Brown to clear.

At the age of 37 it looks like Miller may have enjoyed his last win over Celtic with stopping a whitewash the only incentive for the remainder of the season.
