Footage has emerged on twitter of an Ibrox fan shouting racist abuse at Moussa Dembele.

One fan sitting in the middle of the Copland Road stand posted a video of Celtic’s equaliser at Ibrox which captured the racist shout.

When Scott Sinclair’s corner fell to Dembele the outcome of the match changed with the young Frenchman firing an unstoppable shot into the net from 10 yards out.

As the Celtic players race to celebrate with the goalscorer the racist abuse stands out among the silence of the home support.

In the days leading upto the match Police Scotland issued their usual zero tolerance warnings but despite thousands of home fans singing the anti-catholic anthem The Billy Boys only three supporters were arrested inside the stadium.

With seating arrangements well established and 90% of the home support being season ticket holders identification shouldn’t be a problem.

After studying video footage of the trouble after the Scottish Cup Final between Sevco and Hibs over 100 arrests have been made, it remains to be seen if the same level of police work goes into the zero tollerance programme at Ibrox.
