Clint Hill has revealed that no one has spoken to him about a new Sevco contract.

The 38-year-old has been the star turn out of Mark Warburton’s summer signings but was only handed a one year deal.

Warbo has constantly been banging on about new contracts for Hill and 37-year-old Kenny Miller but those pleas have gone unanswered by Dave King.

The Ibrox club have already acknowledged that a further emergency loan will be required in March with additional funds required to meet expensive legal bills that month.

Providing Hill with another contract is hardly a priority for Mr King who flew into Ibrox yesterday for a series of meetings to discuss the club’s dire financial position.

Speaking to The Sun the former QPR defender revealed: “I think I can still do it but at what level or where it will be I don’t know.

I’ve seen the speculation in the papers and people say where are you going, are you signing a new contract but I’ve heard nothing. That’s up to Rangers and the powers that be.

I love it here. It’s a great club and especially for someone at my age to play in front of 50,000 people is something that dreams are made of.”

It looks like Hill’s dreams will be over at the end of the season as financial reality finally kicks in at Ibrox with a team on the park that matches the income the club is generated.
