Celtic booked their place in the last eight of the Scottish Cup with a 6-0 win over Inverness Caley Thistle.

Faced with the brutality of the highland side Celtic turned on the style with goals that left the punters drooling.

Increasingly people are asking about the lack of a challenge to the hoops but with Brendan Rodgers bhoys turning on the style the fans just can’t get enough.

Last week’s fifth goal at St Johnstone was widely celebrated, Saturday’s opener was also a thing of beauty with the Swedish Tavernier heavily involved.

Stepping over a pass from James Forrest to run into the box, Nir Bitton lofted in the perfect pass which Lustig controlled with his right foot then swept the ball into the net with his left.

Moussa Dembele completed a 14 minute hat-trick with the scoring completed by a spectacular Scott Brown strike with the skipper celebrating another Scottish Cup goal in trademark style.

Next Saturday Celtic host Motherwell in the SPFL, in the next round of the Scottish Cup the hoops are at home to St Mirren.
