Chris Sutton has told the deluded and gullible to forget all about a big name glamour boss.
Frank de Boer has been the favoured name over the last week purely because he has managed Ajax and Inter Milan in recent times. Felix Magath, Harry Redknapp and Michael Laudrup have also been mentioned.

The choice seems to be between a Real Rangers Man or a Fantasy Football Manager with Sutton in no doubt about which road the company will go down.
“Let’s deal with something right away,” he told the Daily Record. “Talk about the likes of Frank de Boer and Alan Pardew is bonkers.
“There is not a chance these guys would consider taking the Rangers job at this moment in time.
“For a start, Rangers don’t have the money to pay the type of wages these gaffers would be demanding.
“And, even if they did somehow fund their appointments, it would empty the piggy bank and leave the managers without a penny to spend while trying to outwit Brendan Rodgers who will have about £30million in the bank to play with.
“And that’s before Moussa Dembele gets sold at some point soon for another £30m-plus.
“Rangers are not going to appoint a big-name manager and anyone who thinks they can or will needs to get their head out of the clouds and bring some realism to the daft party going on inside their brain.”
Sutton believes that St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright is the best candidate to take over at Ibrox but that appointment would be too much of a reality check for season ticket holders to buy into.
Watching a team produced by a £5m/year budget fighting it out with Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen for consolation prizes while picking up regular beatings from a Celtic side on course for 10-in-a-row just wouldn’t be tolerated by the people brought up on financial doping.
